In case you’ve missed the news this week—and avoided social media entirely—on Tuesday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced a formal impeachment inquiry into President Trump. This announcement comes in response to Trump’s phone call with Ukraine’s president and a larger complaint from a White House insider/whistleblower.

And as of Wednesday, just over 200 House Democrats and one Republican representative have publicly supported the impeachment inquiry. (According to the New York Times, at least 71 Democrats have come out in support since Monday alone.)

Wondering where your rep stands on impeachment? Take a look at Need to Impeach’s website and map feature, plug in your zip code or address, and you’ll find out your rep’s stance.

Unsurprisingly, if you live in an area represented by a Republican leader, you can pretty much assume your rep doesn’t support impeachment (unless you live in Michigan rep. Justin Amash’s district). If your representative doesn’t support impeachment—or remains undecided or otherwise silent on the issue—the website also provides a script you can use to contact your rep that calls for their support.

Since the number of supporters is quite literally growing by the minute, if you’re interested in seeing every rep’s position thus far, you can also check the New York Times’ list of supporters and opponents.

While the Democrat-led House is likely to vote in support of impeachment proceedings, it will require as much support from Congress as possible and especially when it comes to the Senate. As of Wednesday, just 17 Democratic senators have come out in support of impeachment proceedings; many of those, unsurprisingly, are current presidential candidates in the 2020 race, including Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, Kamala Harris, and Cory Booker.
